March 26th Montmartre Family Tour

A martyr, Jesuits and nuns, broke painters, a very special fortune teller, what do they have in common?
 
Montmartre of course!
 
This quaint, cobblestone, narrow streets and wisteria district is definitely worth a stroll, it is one of the most charming areas in Paris.
From the less traveled side of the hill we will start our climb to reach the very special house and garden of Musée Montmartre, where impressionist Renoir painted one of his masterpieces. After enjoying one of the best views of the hill and immersing ourselve in a recreated artist studio, on to the hubbub and craziness around the painters square and Sacré Coeur church.
You don't think I can climb 300 steps to enjoy THE view over Paris?...  I would love to take you up the Sacré Coeur Dome and share the vista with you.  
 
This stroll will also be an occasion to evoke Picasso and his crowd, Van Gogh, Renoir. . . and the mysterious Boronali.
 
Visited sites: Musée Montmartre and garden,  Picasso's studio (from outside), Place du Tertre, Sacré Coeur church, Saint Pierre de Montmartre, the Mill of the Galette (from outside), le Lapin Agile Cabaret (from outside), le Clos Montmartre Please note that no commentary can be made inside the two churches we are visiting. I will explain from outside and accompany you inside.
 
Time permitting and if you are willing to do so, we would end the tour by climbing up the dome of the Sacre Coeur church for a stunning view! There are sometimes a short waiting line to access the staircase.
